You are more than the choices that you've made, Yo You are more than the choices that you've made,
You are more than the sum of your past mistakes,
You are more than the problems you create,
You've been remade. - Tenth Avenue North

It’s been an adjustment going from 20+ weddings It’s been an adjustment going from 20+ weddings a year to 1 or 2 small ceremonies. It’s been a season of change and I’m trying to soak in this time with my littles and embrace the chaos of home with 3 under 7… plus two house plants that I desperately need help caring for. #sendtheplantexperts

There is something in me that is missing capturing beautiful moments like this so today I will be sitting here re living your special days. Thanks for sharing them with me ♥️
Fun fact: I’m a dreamer. Lots of dreams. One of Fun fact: I’m a dreamer. Lots of dreams. One of my dreams is to have a magical cottage on a chunk of land with rolling hills and to have lots of Icelandic sheep as well as flower fields…And to have a little shop where coffee and treats are severed as well as things from my land (wool, flowers…)
I have been dealing with health problems the last I have been dealing with health problems the last few years. Symptoms like - rashes, heart palpitations, paresthesia(face going numb), pains all over, muscle weakness, stiffness, swelling in my face, brain fog and extreme fatigue… it’s been exhausting. I am exhausted. I have known something is not right for quite a while and so I went after it. After many doctors appointments, specialist appointments, MRI’s, blood tests and urgent care visits I felt defeated and crazy. My symptoms where real… but my test results were normal. If you have been there than you know just how crazy it makes you. My husband encouraged me to keep searching, so we did. I started seeing a functional medicine doctor and received my first diagnosis - Lymes disease. It felt so good to have a diagnosis but also I felt like we were still missing something. One week later I threw out my shoulder/neck by putting on a shall just before leaving for church on Sunday. I sobbed in the car from the pain and couldn’t handle the movement. I just wanted to go to church and have a normal day and I tried so hard to suck it up and I insisted we just go to church… halfway there we changed our mind and headed to urgent care. UG. The doctor was concerned this was all connected so she ordered MORE blood tests. Later that day I received the results of those blood tests and something came back positive. What a mix of emotions that was. I was over the moon to have a possible diagnosis. To finally say “I’m not crazy!!!!” and than to dive into what that meant. Heavy.

My Rheumatoid Factor was high. 65 IU/ml. Normal : 0-12 IU/ml

I immediately messaged my doctor and asked what it meant - she explained that there is a 96% chance I have an auto Immune disorder.. specifically RA (rheumatoid Arthritis).

RA is an autoimmune and inflammatory disease, which means that your immune system attacks healthy cells in your body by mistake, causing inflammation (painful swelling) in the affected parts of the body.
RA mainly attacks the joints, usually many joints at once causing chronic pain and eventually disability. RA can also attack tissue throughout the body causing problems in organs such as heart, lungs and eyes.

TBC.
